Nanlux has announced that it is launching the Evoke 150C–a compact powerhouse with new eight-colour Nebula C8 light engine–and Evoke 600C–a powerful and versatile full-colour light.

The Evoke 150C is a compact and lightweight 150W full-colour light designed for on-the-go lighting and flexible set-ups.

The compact all-in-one fixture is equipped with Nanlux’s new Nebula C8 Light Engine, which delivers class-leading wide colour temperature range, broad colour gamut coverage, excellent light quality, and precise dimming performance.

It is a multi-purpose light that can run off AC, V-mount batteries, or USB-PD power, and can be easily hidden in tight spaces and concealed behind props. Using the light, filmmakers can smoothly handle tasks like detail accent lighting and moving fill lighting.

The Evoke 600C, meanwhile, is a powerful, versatile full-colour point source light designed for professional productions.

Powered by the Nebula C8 Color Light Engine, it offers an ultra-wide 1,000K-20,000K range with outstanding colour performance and new levels of skin tone rendition. IP66 protection ensures reliability in extreme conditions.

The fixture’s all-in-one magnesium-alloy housing makes it light, easy to transport, and durable. It has the new BE-mount, which can recognise compatible modifiers and control an optional motorised Fresnel.

It is compatible with a wide range of Bowens mount accessories and, via an adapter, is also compatible with NL mount modifiers.

Speaking of the 150C, Nanlux said in a press release: “The Evoke 150C has robust yet lightweight metal construction and is IP66-rated for use in harsh conditions. It uses the new FE mount, which has automated modifier recognition and control with appropriate attachments, and is also compatible with the existing FM mount accessory ecosystem.

“Building on Nanlux design excellence, the Evoke 150C ensures smooth, worry-free operation for enhanced creativity.”

And on the 600C, it said: “The Evoke 600C delivers exceptional output and quality. It provides powerful white and coloured light–serving as a key light in smaller locations, or a fill light in larger scenes. With an impressive 20,820 lux at 3 m (with 25° reflector, 5600K), the light is ideal for almost any production.”

The Evoke 600C costs $2,580, while the Evoke 150C costs $1,080, excluding local taxes.

Both will be showcased from 12-15 September at the IBC Show in RAI Amsterdam (booth 12.F21) and will be shipping soon.
