MPTS, the UK’s largest event for the media, production and technology communities, has announced that registration is now open for its 10th anniversary edition, MPTS 2026, returning to The Grand Hall, Olympia London, on 13 -14 May 2026.

MPTS 2026 celebrates its 10th anniversary with its largest edition yet, featuring “an expanded exhibition, an extensive free seminar programme and a wide range of new features marking a decade of innovation, growth, and community”, a press release said.

“Bringing together creators, technologists, broadcasters, and industry leaders, MPTS is the UK’s go-to destination for collaboration, learning, and connection across broadcast, production, post-production, and technology.”

Highlights for MPTS 2026 are outlined below.

Expanded show floor powered by industry influencers

MPTS 2026 will feature more than 300 exhibitors, showcasing the latest innovations, hands-on technology, and real-world workflows shaping the future of production, post, and broadcast.

The show floor will bring together a diverse line-up across the media and broadcast ecosystem, including returning industry leaders such as Appear, EditShare, EVS, Imagine Communications, LucidLink, Sony, Videndum and Zixi, and alongside major new additions like Grass Valley, Philips, and RedBee Media.

Matthew Williams-Neale, vice president, marketing & communications at Appear, said: “MPTS continues to be an important event for Appear, bringing together the broadcast and media technology community in a way that encourages meaningful conversations.

“We had a very positive experience at last year’s show and are excited to see how MPTS 2026 builds on that momentum, particularly as the industry navigates rapid technological change and new opportunities.”

Red Bee Media announced as official partner

MPTS 2026 has announced Red Bee Media as an official partner for this year’s show. As part of the partnership, Red Bee Media will sponsor the new upstairs pub, officially named MPTS Pub Garden sponsored by Red Bee Media, serving as a key networking hub throughout the event.

Emily Pryor, marketing director at Red Bee Media, said: “MPTS is an important event for Red Bee – it brings together the people, ideas and technologies that are shaping the future of media and broadcast, and it’s always a valuable forum for meaningful industry conversations.

“We are excited to return with fresh perspectives, new innovations, and continued collaboration with partners across the sector.”

Creator Hub in partnership with InterTalent

MPTS 2026 will debut a newly launched Creator Hub, developed in partnership with InterTalent, featuring a Creator Stage and Creator Lounge reflecting the rapid growth of the creator economy.

The stage will spotlight short-form video, influencer marketing, platform innovation and creator brand collaborations, with live panels, fireside chats and practical sessions covering monetisation, creative strategy and real-world success stories.

Post Production World Conference Europe partnering with Future Media Conferences (FMC)

Visitors can experience high-level training from the team at FMC, in a host of paid-for workshops delivering hands-on sessions led by expert trainers and certified instructors for the first time in Europe at PPW.

The first sponsor to join the line-up is confirmed as Maxon and the programme will include immersive tracks across artificial intelligence, post-production, motion graphics and VFX, content creation, and business and career development for creatives.

Expanded SMPTE Media Technology Conference Europe

The SMPTE Media Technology Conference Europe will also expand in 2026, moving to a larger ground floor space to accommodate even more senior technical leaders, innovators and decision-makers exploring the future of global media technology.

Live podcast studio

For the first time, MPTS will host a live podcast studio with the latest trends in on-demand audio and give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at podcast production in action.

Larger networking and wellbeing spaces

Building on the success of its two-level format, the upstairs area of the Grand Hall will be further expanded to include additional informal meeting spaces, collaboration zones and work-from-anywhere areas.

The new MPTS Pub Garden sponsored by Red Bee Media will provide a central hub for conversations, meetings and chance encounters across the two-day event.

MPTS will also continue its commitment to wellbeing and accessibility, working with EventWell to provide a SensoryCalm safe space.

This dedicated area is available to anyone who needs support managing sensory overload or simply wishes to take a short wellbeing break during the show.

Deborah Cross, director of operations at Rise, said: “MPTS 2025 was a truly inspiring experience for me, proving itself to be one of the most diverse events in our industry and demonstrating a genuine commitment to inclusive representation across both its audiences and its speaker programmes – with 37% of speakers female, and 24% of attendance being female last year.

“Their collaborative, values-led approach is what makes MPTS such a powerful and positive force for change – it is the benchmark of how progressive and innovative industry events should be run.”

Charlotte Wheeler, director of MPTS, added: “As we open registration for our 10th anniversary edition, we are incredibly proud of how MPTS continues to evolve alongside the industry. MPTS 2026 will see some of our most ambitious developments yet, from new stages and live experiences to expanded networking and wellbeing spaces.

“At its core, MPTS remains about bringing the community together, creating an environment that inspires creativity, collaboration and meaningful connection across media production and technology.”
