The Red Sea Fund, an initiative of the Red Sea Film Foundation, in collaboration with Film AlUla, has announced the winning projects of its Creative Grants for the third consecutive year – reaffirming a “shared commitment to supporting and empowering filmmaking talent and strengthening their presence on the regional and international stage”.
This year’s announcement recognises the Film AlUla winners from the 2025 edition and continues to recognise the accomplishments of filmmakers supported in the 2023 and 2024 editions.
Together, these three editions have backed a total of 10 films, representing a range of voices, cultures and cinematic styles.
The Red Sea Fund x Film AlUla collaboration underscores a shared commitment to “nurturing the next generation of filmmakers and providing them with the resources, visibility and creative freedom to bring their stories to the screen”, Red Sea Film Foundation said.
“These selected projects not only showcase the artistic growth of the region but also highlight the expanding reach of Saudi Arabia’s film industry as a hub for international collaboration and storytelling.”
As the partnership continues into its third year, the Red Sea Fund and Film AlUla are aiming to build a sustainable and inclusive ecosystem that celebrates cinematic excellence and cross-cultural exchange.
