British cinematographer Christopher Ross BSC will be featured as guest of honour at the 2025 edition of the FSF Day, an event arranged annually by the FSF, the Swedish society of cinematographers.
The event will be held Saturday 14th at the Swedish Film Institute in Stockholm Sweden, and will feature a masterclass with Chris Ross chronicling his career and whopping catalogue of feature film and TV series work. Mr Ross will share his sources of inspiration, visual storytelling techniques, and experiences from working with directors across Europe and the USA. Also, under the headline ”Blurring Boundaries: Cinematography in Documentary & Drama”, a panel featuring Gosia Szylak PSC, Pia Letho FSF, Jon Rudberg FSF and Marek Septimus Wieser FSF, will share their experiences and insights working in these two fields and how narrative and artistic techniques overlap or differ between the two. The event will be moderated by Lars Pettersson FSF and Malin Nicander FSF.
