British Society of Cinematographers reveals first glimpse at BSC Expo 2026 seminar programme

The BSC Expo takes place 13-14 February

The British Society of Cinematographers has announced the first glimpse at its seminar programme which will be presented at BSC Expo 2026.

Hosted across two days, the presentations and panel discussions will take a look at what’s shaping the future of filmmaking. 

Full details of the programme will be available on the BSC Expo website and will be updated with exact timings and more information. 

In the meantime, below is a snapshot of what you can expect to see on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 February at Battersea Evolution.

FRIDAY 13 FEBRUARY

Seminar One:

“Virtual Production Gone Wrong” hosted by iMAG.

Seminar Two:

“Operating – It’s Just Pan and Tilting Right?” hosted by the British Society of Cinematographers

Seminar Three: 

“Behind The Look of ’The Moment’” hosted by FilmLight

Seminar Four:

“Shooting Bedlam in 65mm: Anamorphic Storytelling on the Ursa 17k 65” hosted by Blackmagic Design

Seminar Five:

“No Prep? No Panic! – Stepping onto a Project with no Prep” hosted by the British Society of Cinematographers

Seminar Six:

SATURDAY 14 FEBRUARY

Seminar Seven:

“What Happens When The Phone Doesn’t Ring?” hosted by the British Society of Cinematographers 

Seminar Eight: 

“One Feature, Four Week and Profoto Cinema Lighting – A Behind The Scenes Look at ’The Butler’” hosted by Profoto

Seminar Nine:

“The Secret to Shooting Action Scenes” hosted by RED

Seminar Ten:

“The Cinematographer’s Signature” hosted by the British Society of Cinematographers

Further to the line-up of seminars, the Expo will once again showcase the latest production equipment presented by more than 150 international brands across the show floor.
