Kodak celebrates Autumn Durald Arkapaw ASC at 8th Annual Kodak Film Awards

Yesterday (2 March), Kodak hosted the eighth Annual Kodak Film Awards at the American Society of Cinematographers Clubhouse in Hollywood, honouring filmmakers and artists “whose work continues to advance cinematic storytelling on film”.

This included Autumn Durald Arkapaw ASC, whose work on Sinners has already seen her pick up AFC, Girls on Film and NAACP Image Awards. 

Arkapaw was presented with the Lumière Award by Vanessa Bendetti, VP and head of motion picture at Kodak.

Kodak said: “Autumn Durald Arkapaw ASC was recognised for her cinematography work across recent projects including Sinners (which received 16 Academy Award nominations), reflecting Kodak’s ongoing collaboration with artists committed to visual storytelling on film.”

Other 2026 honourees included:

Debut Feature Award: Kristen Stewart (presented by Corey C. Waters, director of photography)

Auteur Award: Joachim Trier (presented by Jason Reitman, director)

Keighley Award: Patricia Keighley of IMAX (presented by Christopher Nolan, director, producer and screenwriter)

Music & Commercial Film Director Award: Salomon Ligthelm (presented by Ali Brown, PRETTYBIRD president/executive producer) 

Television Series of the Year: Fallout (presented by Vanessa Bendetti, VP and head of motion picture, Kodak)
