Starting Pixel Live, the annual gathering for the virtual production industry, has announced the full speaker line-up for its 2025 event, taking place on 15 October at Rich Mix in East London.
Now in its third year, the event brings together producers, directors, technologists, creatives and writers working at the intersection of film, gaming, advertising and immersive content.
Starting Pixel revealed: “The focus of this year’s conference remains simple: real people, sharing real practical examples of using these new production technologies and tools.
“Starting Pixel Live remains proudly community driven, welcoming attendees from its 1200-strong global members and anyone else who may be curious about emerging production methods, regardless of background or on-set experience.”
Starting Pixel Live 2025 will feature a full day’s programme across two stages, including talks from directors, producers and virtual production supervisors, a student showcase, and a demo jam session.
Topics include:
- Beyond Big Studios: Making Virtual Production Work for Small Creatives, Daniel Parry Evans
- Indie VP: Innovating with Indies, Lauren Newport-Quinn
- How to Train Your AI Monster, Ed Tracy
- Digital Meets Handmade: Can VP enhance stop-motion?, David Gray
Rob Chandler, founder of Starting Pixel, said: “There’s often a gap between the people with decades of industry experience, the next generation coming in with new tools and knowledge, and those who are simply curious but have no idea how to get involved.
“Starting Pixel Live is about closing that gap, by welcoming everyone who is interested and enthusiastic, and bringing them together in one venue to talk honestly and learn from each other.”
The full schedule is available on the Starting Pixel website.
