Frank Deutschländer has joined LCA Lights Camera Action Europe as business development manager, “strengthening the company’s focus on the German cine and broadcast market”.
Deutschländer brings more than 15 years of experience within the photo and imaging industry, having most recently served as sales manager Germany at Kaiser Fototechnik.
Over the course of his career, he played a key role in supporting and shaping the German photo retail landscape, building extensive market knowledge and long-standing industry relationships, LCA said.
With this appointment, Deutschländer is realigning his professional focus towards film, television, and broadcast production.
In his new role at LCA Europe, he will be responsible for developing the company’s cine and broadcast business in Germany and Austria, working closely with customers and partners to support the distribution of professional lighting and production equipment.
LCA continued: “Over the past three years, Deutschländer has gained significant experience in the professional production environment through his work with high-end lighting manufacturer Nanlux.
“During this time, he established a strong network of rental houses and developed a deep understanding of the technical and operational requirements of film and television productions.”
At LCA Europe, Deutschländer will apply this expertise to strategically support customers with a broad portfolio of innovative brands, while contributing to the development and delivery of new projects across film, television and broadcast.
“I am very much looking forward to bringing my experience into an environment that is clearly focused on cine and broadcast, and to setting new impulses in this market together with LCA and its partners,” said Deutschländer.
